how we started
CRUISE COLLECTION
After our initial studies in Sydney, Australia, we were fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work in Paris. Working under the tutelage of Madame Lacroix at the Rénouveler atelier was a dream come true. The training we received was second-to-none and we believe that this is where our passion for creating beautiful, one off pieces was born. Returning to Sydney, with our love of creative couture and the sublime structure that tailoring offers, we are thrilled to be able to present our own offerings of preloved garments that are as unique as you are. We only work with sustainable virgin fabrics or vintage pieces that are reworked, reimagined and reincarnated just for you. At Up the Road, we believe that up-cycled fashion is the future of the world’s fashion.
We founded “Up the Road”, an up-cycling fashion boutique in 2015. It is our mission to give those beloved pre-loved designer garments a second life. We curate collections from combining sustainable virgin fabrics with vintage designer pieces to offer you that one-off piece that is “as unique as you are”. Currently based in Surry Hills, and soon to launch our new store in Pitt Street Mall, we are thrilled to have realised our dream in reincarnating high end vintage fashion garments and bringing them to the high street for our loyal customers.
